Walking Corpse Syndrome is a six-piece brutal groove metal band formed in Missoula, Montana in 2006 by guitarist Matthew Bile and drummer Nocktis from the remains of a previous project.
The first thing people notice about Walking Corpse Syndrome is the two drummers. Why the double drumming?
When Bile and Nocktis were first forming the band, Nocktis' brother had just left the Army and was looking for a band to jam with and would hang out during the band's practices. A joke about hauling his drum set over soon turned into a hallmark. The sound is huge, intense, and brings an extra energy to the live shows.
The current lineup for Walking Corpse Syndrome includes Leif Winterrowd (vocals), Matthew Bile (guitar), Tana Starkey (guitar), Neil Whaley (bass), Nocktis (drums), and Mr. Grimm (drums).
The released has released two singles in 2018, "Bled Her" and "Wolf in the Nursery", from their upcoming EP "Embrace the Suffering." Walking Corpse Syndrome has self-released four albums, Human Delusion (2015), Alive in Desolation (2013), Narcissist (2010), and Forsaken (2008).
Walking Corpse Syndrome have toured across the Western United States and have appeared with Anthrax, Suicide Silence, Soulfly, Born of Osiris, Testament, The Browning, Lorna Shore, Fire From the Gods, Fuck the Facts, So This is Suffering, and Lack of Remorse.
Go. Go man gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Sucking in all the chemicals dressed in designer tatters just wanting to feel sexy sobriety tips these vultures can smell limitations lost it starts a piranha frenzy.
She’s on the table feeling free she’s on the table pandering unknowingly to a fierce mob mentality completely unaware as to what an atrocious creature that a pack of humans all can be.
A little high society the compensation so persuasive all believing she is asking functions fade as she has fallen to a chemical freeze she’s on the table, didn’t know the chain reaction this could bring
The beast became a machine this thing no longer a person just fuel for the components, rabid beings. Humanity got lost as nature took hold, it will always eat the weak.
The lights are dim she’s on the table only synthetically willing and they all know it still the pack is all pushing trying to get in for that age-old prize of the alpha how did it ever get this far?
Could walk away right now could walk away and be all that is man but don’t want to stand on broken toes just to look over the house fence, got to do what it takes for this acceptance this is the danger of fitting in.
Knew the approval was manufactured knew that this was suffering
Still crushed ethics unethically now just a part of the machine
The iron will it proved organic it decomposed so easily
Sacrificed for entity camouflage inclusion over took morality.
Have to relive this all over forever reaching for self-preservation looking for a blame where was the angel on your shoulder? It was not there but it was not absent, it was in the corner unable to whisper it was bound and gagged with its own halo. Left completely up to you and you failed try to drown it but no substance will get this undone. Branded by the machine it wont let you un-see or un-hear the haunting noise of the room is all so deafening.
The sound of the beast turned machine, voices of the memory. Chants always speak never resting, forever echoing they scream.
The sound of the beast turned machine, voices of the memory. Chants always speak never resting, forever echoing they scream.
Go, go man go, she’ll come or bleed. Go, go man go, she awoke she screamed. No, please god no, what is happening. Go, go man go, shove and you will be.
Kill yourself tonight.
You bled her dry. Tortured without crime. You bled her dry. She is dead inside.
You bled her dry. Tortured without crime. You bled her dry. She is dead inside
You bled her dry. Tortured without crime. You bled her dry. Do her right. End your life. Bled her dry. Tortured without crime. Do her right. End your life.
